The Good Shepherd
For skin that has run out of patience: tight after washing, dull by afternoon, quick to react. Free-roaming Icelandic lamb tallow sits remarkably close to the lipids skin makes on its own, paired with goat milk, ceramides NP, AP & EOP, and cholesterol to complete the skin's own barrier trio. Rich without the heaviness. It absorbs, then simply looks like skin.

How to use
Texture & scent
Three things this cream does for stressed skin
Rebuilds the barrier
Lamb tallow, ceramides NP / AP / EOP, and cholesterol restock the very lipids skin uses to seal itself, so it holds water better and reacts less.
Deep, lasting hydration
Betaine, saccharide isomerate, sodium lactate, and glycerin draw and hold moisture, keeping skin plump long after you apply.
Calm, never greasy
Panthenol and goat milk soothe visible stress while dry-touch esters keep the finish soft and quick to absorb.

Tallow the way skin recognizes it
Our lamb tallow comes from sheep raised on Iceland's open, wind-clean pastures: grass-fed and free-roaming. Rendered slow and clean, then infused with frankincense resin, tallow is remarkably close in makeup to the lipids your own skin produces.
That kinship is the whole idea: it settles in rather than sitting on top, delivering deep, familiar nourishment that helps skin feel whole again.

Questions, answered
Is this safe for sensitive, reactive skin?
Yes. The formula has no synthetic fragrance (its soft scent comes only from frankincense resin infused into the tallow) and is built around ingredients skin already recognizes: tallow, ceramides, cholesterol, and gentle humectants. There are no common irritants, and it is preserved with the mild, broad-spectrum Geogard 221. As always, patch test first if your skin is highly reactive.
Will lamb tallow feel greasy or heavy?
No. Although tallow is deeply nourishing, it is blended with dry-touch esters and lightweight emulsifiers so the cream absorbs quickly and finishes soft. It cushions without the slick, occlusive feel of a pure balm.
Is it comedogenic? Will it clog pores?
Tallow is structurally close to the lipids your own skin makes, which is part of why it tends to sit well even on many complexions. This cream is designed for dry and compromised skin; if you are very oily or acne-prone, patch test and introduce it gradually.
Is it vegan or cruelty-free?
This is an animal-derived formula: it contains lamb tallow and goat milk, so it is not vegan. It is, however, made in small batches with real, minimally processed ingredients and is never tested on animals.
How long will a jar last?
With twice-daily face use, the 1 oz jar typically lasts about 4 weeks and the 2 oz about 8 weeks. Once opened, use within 12 months.
