The Balm Effect: Simply Tallow
Four ingredients and nothing else. Grass-fed beef tallow, whose lipid profile sits remarkably close to your skin’s own, melted with jojoba oil and a touch of beeswax. No water, no preservatives, no fragrance. The simplest thing we make, for skin that reacts to everything else.
Directions
After cleansing and toning, warm a small pea-sized scoop between fingertips until it melts, then press onto face and neck. Add more only where skin is driest. Can be used day and night; most reach for it at night.
Full ingredient list
Grass-fed Beef Tallow, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Cera Alba (Beeswax), Tocopherol (Vitamin E).
As simple as skincare gets.
No actives, no botanicals, no fragrance. Just lipids your skin already understands.
Mirrors skin
Tallow carries a lipid profile close to the one skin makes on its own, so it is recognized and absorbed instead of sitting on top.
Softens
Technically a liquid wax, jojoba is the closest plant match to skin’s own sebum. It gives the balm its glide and a soft, non-sticky finish.
Seals
Beeswax holds the balm together and locks moisture in overnight. Tocopherol keeps the tallow fresh without a preservative.

Everything in the jar, and why.
Melt it, press it in.
A pea-sized scoop. Let your fingertips warm it before it touches your face.
The seal
As the last step, over serum or on bare skin. Melt a pea between fingertips and press in. Wake up soft.
The reset
When skin is stinging, flaking, or reacting to a new product, strip the routine back to this alone for a few nights.
The all-over
Lips, cuticles, elbows, knuckles, a baby’s cheeks. Four ingredients means it is safe anywhere skin is dry.
